The Rise of the English Novel

This text aims at giving information about the English novel and its development, its genres and the main authors. It includes the description of the period in which novels were born, when and why they developedm with extensions which deal with the author that characterizes the period and the description of their main works. The Rise of the Novel focus on the very beginning of this genre, its links with the historical period in which it developed and the authors that paved the way to its development.
