When Evil awakens Roland Greitner, an unemployed homeless man, lives a life on the fringes of society - until he is suddenly confronted with memories of a brutal bank robber. As the lines between his own identity and the dark deeds of the man whose life he now carries become blurred, Roland begins a dangerous hunt for the prey that holds the key to his past and a cruel truth. Pursued by merciless pursuers and tormented by visions from another time, he must decide: is he the man he was - or the man he has become?
